Pre-Bankruptcy Services
If you elect for the Official Trustee to be your bankruptcy trustee, we can provide pre-bankruptcy counselling services for a fixed fee of $99 which includes:
- advising you on the consequences of bankruptcy and your responsibilities; and
- assisting you with completing the bankruptcy forms.
Unfortunately we cannot provide any assistance if you are already bankrupt. If you are already bankrupt we advise that you must contact your Bankruptcy Trustee or a solicitor.
Alternatively if may wish to appoint a Registered Trustee to administer your bankruptcy (a Bankruptcy Trustee in private practice). We can offer that service for an affordable fee of $75 p.w. for 3 years (unless you are liable to pay compulsory income contributions which exceed that amount).
